What about the Fees and Payments?
The fee you pay for a support group may have already been established between you and I. These groups are offered on a sliding scale. Make sure you discuss with me any financial considerations. Support Group sessions are 75 minutes. The payment is expected at time of the first session of the month.
You may use Venmo (@Connie-Habash) to pay for sessions, or we can arrange for credit card on IVY pay, a secure payment portal used by psychotherapists, which may require a slight additional fee as it charges me a fee. Other possible payment options may be available.
For support groups, you are expected to attend our scheduled sessions unless something urgent arises, because consistency builds trust and deeper connection. Please give 24 hours notice when possible if you can’t attend the group. Your payment for the sessions will continue through your agreed upon period of attendance, whether you choose to attend or not, to keep the group cohesive and committed to our exploration together.
What About Confidentiality?
What you share in our spiritual mentoring sessions and support groups is confidential between you and I, with the exception of what is required by law to report. Those instances are: when there is a reasonable suspicion of child, dependent or elder abuse or neglect and where a client presents a danger to self, to others, to property, or is gravely disabled, in which case I would need to break confidentiality to prevent harm.
Otherwise, I will not share what you share with me.
I will also keep your membership in the support group confidential outside of group. If you interact with me on social media, I will not acknowledge that you are part of a group unless you choose to reveal that publicly.
Keep in mind that emails, texts, Zoom or Skype, and social media are not necessarily secure avenues of communication with me. If you are concerned about the security of your confidentiality, I suggest calling me on the phone. Otherwise, I’m fine with communication via these modalities, as long as it is a relatively short communication.

Online Support Groups
Online support groups will usually be held on Zoom or Doxy.me. Zoom is not a secure form of communication. If you prefer a more secure form of online sessions, we may be able to use Doxy.me or another form of online video conferencing for group sessions, and will need to agree upon the platform as a group.
If I know in advance that I cannot facilitate a group, I will make every effort to provide at least 1 week’s notice. If I can reschedule the meeting for another time and/or day within that same week, the regular group fee will still apply. If I am unable to reschedule group in a given week or if I have to unexpectedly cancel group with less than 48 hours notice, I will discount the subsequent monthly fee by the rate of an individual group meeting
As always, when dealing with online video sessions, there can be technical glitches that arise. Please keep my cell phone handy in case you get cut off or can't access the session, so I can do my best to assist you: 650-996-2649
