    About Acnd Duo

    ACnd Duo (pronounced “Ascend'') is a percussion and marimba duo founded in 2022 by Malaysian percussionist April Ong and American percussionist Chandler Beaugrand. They are currently based in Boston, MA. ACnd Duo were the winners of the 2023 Great Plains International Marimba Competition (Open Duo Division), and they were chosen as Boston Conservatory at Berklee’s Honors Chamber Ensemble for the 2023-2024 concert season.
