Terms & Conditions for ScentWise Dog Sports & Services

1. Payment Policy:
   1. Payment must be paid in full by June 15, 2024.
   2. Failure to make payment before the start of the class may result in the loss of your reservation.
2. Attendance Policy:
   1. Regular attendance is crucial for the success of the training program.
   2. Missed classes will not be refunded or rescheduled.
   3. You can schedule a private class ($40) in order to catch up with the program.
3. Health and Safety:
   1. All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations as recommended by their veterinarian.
   2. Dogs showing signs of illness or aggression may be asked to leave the class for the safety of other participants and their dogs.
4. Leash and Control:
   1. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times unless otherwise instructed by the trainer.
   2. Owners are responsible for maintaining control of their dogs during class.
5. Respectful Behavior:
   1. Respectful and courteous behavior is expected from all participants towards the trainer and fellow classmates.
   2. Disruptive behavior or harassment will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the class without refund.
6. Cleanup Responsibility:
   1. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs during class and on the training facility premises.
7. Cancellation Policy:
   1. Classes may be canceled or rescheduled by the trainer due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather or trainer illness.
   2. In the event of class cancellation by the trainer, every effort will be made to reschedule the class or provide a credit for a future class.
      
      

AGREEMENT TO HOLD HARMLESS, WAIVER AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I understand that attendance of a dog obedience training class is not without risk to myself, members of my family or guests who may attend, or my dog, because of some of the dogs to which I will be exposed may be difficult to control and may be the cause of injury even when handled with the greatest amount of care.

I hereby waive and release ScentWise Dog Sports & Services hereinafter referred to as the "Training Organization", its employees, officers, members and agents from any and all liability of any nature, for injury or damage which I or my dog may suffer, including specifically, but without limitation, any injury or damage resulting from the action of any dog, and I expressly assume the risk of such damage or injury while attending any training session, or any other function, of the Training Organization, or while on the training grounds or the surrounding area thereto.

In consideration of and as inducement to the acceptance of my application for training membership by this Training Organization, I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless this Training Organization, its employees, officers, members and agents from any and all claims, or claims by any member of any family or any other person accompanying me to any training session or function to the Training Organization, or while on the grounds or the surrounding area thereto as a result of any action by any dog, including my own.
