The Queensland Junior Teams Carnival (Gold Coast) will be held from
Saturday 14th – Wednesday 18th December 2024
It is the most grueling yet most enjoyable event on the junior tennis calendar and is the largest team event in Queensland. Featuring singles, doubles, and mixed doubles, plus the separate Roy Emerson Premier Series singles event, the Queensland Junior Teams Carnival is the biggest and the best!
Team Event Format:
Each team will be made up of 2-3 boys and 2-3 girls with each match consisting of 8 rubbers including singles doubles and mixed doubles. The format for each match will be randomly assigned by the tournament director at the start of each round.
Age Eligibility:
Age as of 31st December 2024
Team Selection:
The Top 48 Players from the North & Far North Regions will be selected to Represent Team North based off UTR - the rating will be taken at the time of the EOI closing date.
Selection will be based off the following:
- The players current UTR
- Current displinary points accumulated throughout the year will be taken into consideration and may impact selection
Team Fee:
Players will be required to pay a fee which will cover the following:
- Accommodation
- Catering
- Vehicle Hire
- Entry Fee
- Team Managers
- Player Levy
The regions will provide a subsidy to reduce the cost for players. A group booking for flights will be made with players responsible for covering their flight.
Completing the nomination form is confirming availability for the nominated days of the event and does not guarantee your position in the team.
Team selections will be announced by the region after nominations close.
