Habit Health operates nationwide as part of the ACC Sensitive Claims Service (SCS). Habit Health is comprised of a dedicated team to support you in your Sensitive Claims (SCS) work.
Our team holds many years of experience in working in sensitive claims through the ISSC contract, and now the SCS contract, and have established relationships within ACC. Joining Habit Health also connects you with a large group of experienced clinicians who are also working on the SCS contract, alongside many other ACC contracts.
We also provide all the other allied health services that can be utilised under SCS, like OT, Physio, Nursing, Dietician, Social Work and Speech Language Therapy, as well as having other ACC contracts such as the Training for Independence programme, Psychology services, Pain services and other wrap around supports to support our sensitive claims clients who may have other service needs alongside their sensitive claim treatment.
We are always seeking talented, skilled, and enthusiastic Professionals to join our team. At Habit Health we are interested in hearing from clinicians wishing to join our network of Counsellors, Registered Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Psychotherapists and Social Workers, who have experience in working with survivors of sexual trauma.

Requirements for approval on the ACC Sensitive Claims Services Contract:
SCS named treatment provider criteria– Psychologist, Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Psychiatrist:
- Evidence of minimum Level 6 NZQA recognised qualification
- Evidence of full APC and full membership of relevant bodies as per the Service
- Schedule for the Sensitive Claims Service
- CV with evidence of minimum 2-year FTE experience post qualification in mental health setting and experience working with survivors of sexual abuse and assault obtained or maintained in the last five years
- *Completion of questions on application for:
- Abnormal psychology
- Skills in two or more therapy models of therapeutic intervention
- Human development
- Basic assessment skills
- Therapeutic intervention skills
- Family dynamics.
- NOTE: Providers who do not meet the 2- year FTE experience post qualification in a mental health setting and experience working with survivors of sexual abuse and assault obtained or maintained in the last five years may be approved as a provisional treatment provider if all other areas are sufficient.
In addition, we require contractors to have the following;
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Access to the internet
- Access to suitable counselling facilities
