Submit images for consideration in the Interclub Print Battle Competition

Entries for 2026

Themes for 2026 are:

• Freeze the action – action shot which captures the sense of motion but with minimal or no blur. Panning shots which show background blur are not valid.
• Facial expressions – a facial expression which captures and conveys emotion
• Fire and / or Frozen – an image that captures either or both senses of heat and cold
• Food glorious food – A shot which makes the mouth water and the stomach rumble
• Fellowship – a photo which captures a sense of community, togetherness, shared concern or care for others
• Fashion, flair, flamboyance – anything goes as long it is conveys the theme
• Fungus, Fruit, Flowers – From the natural setting to a formal arrangement, a photo which incorporates one or more of the themed items
• Flight – An object, bird, person, in the act of flying through the air
• Forces of Nature – Earth, Fire, Water, Resilience of nature
• Festival – the image should convey the sense of fun, colour, activities of an event

We ask for your name and email address below in order to confirm receipt of your submission, contact you once a final decision has been made, and to make sure we adhere to the competition rule restricting the number of images that may be entered by one person. The final choice of images will be made by a committee, taking into account member's views provided at the meetings.

Please use the entry form below to make your submissions. Please do not include your name or initials in the image title.

If you already have a mounted print of any of the images you offer, please say so in the comments space at the end.

IMAGE SUBMISSIONS

You can submit up to six images at a time.  There is no limit to your total submissions.

Use the title of each image as the file name. 

Images should be in full resolution .jpg format, sRGB colour space, and may be up to 3840 pixels wide, and up to 2160 pixels high. Note that this is the same as the recently updated standard maximum size for salon entries.

While JPGs are used for uploading, you must have larger higher resolution versions available if your image is selected for printing.
