Horse Float Hire - Terms and Conditions
You agree to complete a Hire Agreement prior to commencement of the Hire.
Payment via cash or bank transfer is required upon commencement of the Hire Agreement
A $150 deposit is required. The Owner will refund the Deposit to the Hirer at the end of the Term provided that the Hirer has performed all of the Hirer’s obligations under the Hire Agreement.
Upon return the Float must be clean of manure and urine, and hosed off
externally if particularly muddy.
The Horse Float can only be towed by a Towing Vehicle driven by You or an Authorised Driver.
You and any Authorised Driver must hold a valid licence to drive the Towing Vehicle. The Towing Vehicle must not be driven whilst your driver's licence is cancelled or suspended.
The Float must not be towed by a Towing Vehicle driven by You or any Authorised Driver whilst intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The Hirer will use the Equipment for the purpose for which it was designed and not for any other purpose.
You must advise us in advance if you require help/assistance to hitch the Float to your Tow Vehicle. It is the responsibility of the driver to make sure it is properly secured throughout the hiring period.
The Hirer will be responsible for any loss, theft, damage or destruction to the Float.
The Float must not be used in any area that is prohibited by Us. Prohibited areas include flooded roads; beaches, streams, rivers, creeks, dams and floodwaters; any road that is closed; any road where it is unsafe to tow the Float.
Only 'broken in' horses are permitted in the horse float. No other livestock is permitted.
Please note - the float insurance does NOT cover the animal being transported or any personal belongings transported or stored within the float.
