LITC APPLICATION FORM

Lionheart In The Community (LITC) London is your college/training provider. Once we register your interest, you will receive an invitation to log onto the college's online platform and complete an application form. You will not be enrolled if your application on LITC's online portal is not completed, signed and submitted.

FUNDING APPLICATION

The Advanced Learner Loan is a government-funded loan designed to help learners aged 19 and over to pay for tuition fees for eligible courses at Level 3 and above. It’s easy to apply for, and repayments are made only once you earn above a certain income threshold.

How It Works:

• You can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover the cost of your course tuition fees.
• Your loan will be paid directly to your college or training provider on your behalf, so you don't have to worry about managing the payments yourself.

Support from Your Mentor/Advisor:

• Your mentor or an advisor will guide you through the loan application process to ensure that everything is filled out correctly.
• For any specific questions you may contact Student Finance England directly.

Loan Repayment:

• Repayments are automatically deducted from your income through the tax system once you start earning over a specified amount.
• The loan repayments depend on your income and does not have to be paid back until you are earning above £25,000 a year. The repayment rate is 9% over anything earned over £25,000. For example if you're earning £26,000 per year, you will be liable for repaying 9% of £1,000 yearly (or £7,50 per month).

APPLYING FOR THE ADVANCED LEARNER LOAN 

In order to apply for the Advanced Learner Loan, you will need to print out this form and fill out the following parts: 

1.1; 1.2; 1.3; 1.4 (if known) 
2.1; 2.2; 2.3; 2.3.1; 2.3.2
3.3
6.2 (make sure to include two different alternative contacts)

And most importantly, sign and date the terms and conditions on page 23.
