Qualification

NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Gym Instructing & Personal Training

This is a combined diploma covering both Level 2 Gym Instructing and Level 3 Personal Training. So, you don't need to have prior Level 2 qualification.

Duration

14 weeks course with the flexibility to complete sooner if you progress at a faster pace.

Learning Format

You will access to an online portfolio for theory coursework and be assigned a tutor to help you through the theory side of the course.

Weekly Drop-in Sessions

Join our live weekly online drop-in sessions to ask questions about the theory units, receive guidance from tutors, and connect with fellow learners as you progress through the course.

Practical Sessions

You will attend three in-person practical sessions scheduled as you progress through your online theory. We're partnered with Pure Gym which allows us to deliver in-person practical sessions all over the UK at your most local Pure Gym.

Course Fee

The total course fee is £2,882 which is funded through Student Finance England as a student loan.

Funding Application

The Advanced Learner Loan is a government-funded loan designed to help learners aged 19 and over - paying for tuition fees for eligible Level 3 and above courses. It’s simple to apply for, and repayments only begin once you earn above a certain income threshold.

How It Works:

• You can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover your course tuition fees.
• The loan is paid directly to your college or training provider, so you don’t need to manage any payments yourself.
• There are no upfront costs - you can start learning and won’t repay anything until you’re earning over £25,000 a year.

Loan Repayment:

• Repayments are automatically deducted from your income through the UK tax system.
• You only start repaying the loan once you're earning over £25,000 per year.
• The repayment amount is 9% of your income over £25,000.
  Example: If you earn £26,000 per year, you’ll repay 9% of £1,000 = £90 per year (or £7.50 per month).

Application Form

We partner with colleges across England to offer government-funded courses. This application form serves as your expression of interest in the Level 3 Personal Training course. Once submitted, we will review your application to assess your initial eligibility for funding.

You will be required to complete, sign, and submit the college enrolment form in the next step.
