Fall 2024 Transitional Program Student Application

Studio By The Tracks presents three (spring summer, and fall) offerings of our exploratory arts Transitional Program that exposes artists on the autism spectrum ages 16+ to different art mediums and processes including drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media, ceramics, and a variety of creative endeavors.

We are looking for artists for our upcoming 10-week fall program.

WHEN: Classes will be held on Wednesdays from August 28 through October 30th, 2024 from 4-5:30pm
WHERE: Classes will take place at Studio By The Tracks (301 20th St S Irondale AL 35210)
Accepted students are invited to attend free of charge
Classes will be led by teaching artists on our staff as well as professional artists from our region
Classes will be designed to give participants a feel for what it’s like to be a part of a community arts studio, and our hope is that our Transitional Program artists will eventually be integrated into our Adult Program, where they will begin to receive income through commissions on sales of their artwork
