Please read the following carefully before filling out this form:
Completing a presentation proposal does not guarantee selection.
The True Charity team will select proposals based on the relevance of the topic, our highest-priority content needs, and the available speaking slots.
There are two avenues for presenting educational content to our audience:
A True Charity Real Results Webinar
- We have two spots reserved for Business Partners in our webinar calendar for the next year (Fall 2025-Summer 2026).
- This is a fully remote presentation option.
- A webinar session is 1 hour (40 minutes of content delivery followed by Q&A)
A True Charity Summit Breakout Session
- The Summit, our annual conference, will take place April 22-24 (Wed-Fri) at Beach Church in Jacksonville, FL.
- This is an in-person presentation option.
- A standard Summit session is 1 hour. We will have one group of extended sessions that will be 1.5 hours long.
Generally speaking, we are looking for content that aligns well with these topics (we will consider other topics):
- Program Design
- Best practices for effective programs include implementing challenge, accountability, relationship, etc.
- Case management best practices that support a developmental approach to charity vs. a relief-oriented approach
- Training on case-by-case issues such as mental illness, trauma-informed care, addiction, etc.
- Healthy Organizations
- Building an effective board and staff
- Leadership development, creating a healthy team culture, etc
- Operational best practices, such as liability prevention, forming a 501(c)3, organizational structure, etc
- Training for board members
- Fundraising and Volunteerism
- Private funding strategies, grant-writing instruction, donor engagement and cultivation tips
- Best practices for recruiting, equipping, and retaining volunteers, strategies for gaining community support
- Marketing, branding, and website design tips
- Special demographics
- Working with specific populations such as ex-felons, elderly, youth, etc
- Community collaboration
- Tips and tools for communicating and collaborating with other local nonprofits and churches
- Coalition-building around effective charity ideas
Guidelines
- You may enter up to three proposals. For each proposal, you may select whether you would like to present it as a webinar, a 2026 Summit session, or either.
- Content must not conflict with True Charity's foundational principles that the best kind of charity is voluntarily-funded, challenge-oriented, and outcomes-driven.
- Content must be educational, not merely advertorial.
Compensation
No honorarium will be given for either a webinar or a Summit speaking slot, nor will we reimburse for travel/lodging expenses. However, you are welcome to promote a paid product or service during your presentation, and a recording will be provided to use as you see fit. If selected as a speaker for the Summit, you will receive complimentary admission to the full conference and a $150 discount on an exhibit hall booth (subject to availability when à la carte booth purchases open in January; booth selection priority is granted to sponsors in Fall 2025 before general availability.).
Selection Process
- Our first round of selections will be completed by Friday, October 10th, so for priority consideration, please submit by then.
- Proposal submission will close after December 31st, 2025.
- The True Charity team will let you know if your proposal is selected by the end of January 2026.
