CARP’s mission is to enhance the ecological health of the Annapolis River watershed. How would your membership help? Membership fees are used to support CARP’s various conservation and stewardship initiatives such as monitoring the quality of water, restoring fish habitat, monitoring and mitigating invasive species, creating riparian buffers, monitoring and protecting species at risk and much more. In addition, twenty per cent of the fees goes to the Hawboldt Environment Studies bursary, which is awarded to a graduating high school student within the watershed who plans to go into the field of environmental studies at university.
Annual membership runs from June-May each year, corresponding with CARP’s AGM. Members who register in the fourth quarter of the year will be issued a membership that extends through the following year. A notice of renewal will be sent prior to CARP’s AGM, held annually in June.
