    THE DURHAM REGION LAW ASSOCIATION LAW SCHOLARSHIP
    The Durham Region Law Association Scholarship Award was established in 2016 to support deserving students whose education would otherwise be compromised. The scholarship is $1000.


    Eligibility Requirements:
    1. Applicants must be admitted and enrolled full time or part time in an accredited law school.
    2. Applicants must demonstrate a connection to Durham Region.
    3. Applicant must demonstrate past and present acts of volunteerism and community involvement.


    To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must submit a completed application and the following additional documents:
    • Confirmation of enrollment in a law program
    • A cover letter addressing how you meet the eligibility requirements of the scholarship.
    • A resume or curriculum vitae.
    • Most recent academic transcript.


    Deadline: Completed applications must be received by the Durham Region Law Association by May 15th, 2025. Only successful applicants will be notified.
