2025 Downtown Furry Fridays Market Application

TERMS OF AGREEMENT: 

I hereby apply to be a vendor at the Downtown Winnipeg Furry Fridays Markets produced by the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ (“the BIZ”), and I understand that not all applicatns are approved to particiapte. I understand that space allocated by the BIZ is based on the requirements I have submitted, and on the appropriate allocation of space to create a viable vendor market mix. I understand that the BIZ will make every effort to accommodate my requests but cannot provide a guarantee. I understand that my participation in the market is entirely at my own risk. Neither the BIZ nor any other party are responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items occurring before, during or after the Downtown Furry Fridays Markets.

In accordance with Manitoba laws this market does not tolerate aggressive behavior, verbal abuse, or harassment towards BIZ board members, staff, contractors, vendors, customers, visitors, or volunteers. Inappropriate action may result in refusal of service, being asked to leave, or contacting local authorities. The BIZ holds the right to ask anyone upsetting the harmonious operation of the market to leave the premises or remove them from the market.

By accepting this agreement, I declare the information on this form to be complete and accurate and I agree to pay the rates as set out in this document. I understand that methods of payment are online or by cheque. I understand that market fee payments are non-refundable except in the case of a change or cancelation of the Downtown Winnipeg Furry Fridays Markets by the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ.

NOTE: SUBMISSION OF AN APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE INCLUSION AT THE DOWNTOWN WINNIPEG FURRY FRIDAYS MARKETS. YOUR APPLICATION WILL GO THROUGH AN APPROVAL PROCESS AND YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED IF ACCEPTED.

VENDOR PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE FORM

The BIZ will promote the Downtown Furry Fridays Markets through marketing and communication mediums such as social media and printed promotional materials. The BIZ will often take photos and videos of vendors, their products, their booths, and the entire market. The BIZ may also hire a photographer and/or videographer to take professional photos as well.  

As a vendor at Downtown Furry Fridays Markets, I hereby grant permission to the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ the rights of my image, in video or still, and of the likeness and sound of my voice as recorded on audio or video tape without payment or any other consideration.  

I understand that my images or images of my products and services may be edited, copied, exhibited, published, or distributed and waive the right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of my image or recording.  

I further grant the BIZ the right to create derivative works of these images and recordings in any media now known or later developed as well as my name for promoting, publicizing, or explaining the BIZ and its activities. I acknowledge that the BIZ owns all rights to the images and recordings. I acknowledge that I am over the age of 18 years.
