Cake Order Form

PBG has a specific aesthetic - textural, chic, fun and whimsy to highlight the beauty of cake in its natural state. Please refrain from asking for things specifically stated below that we DON’T OFFER:

writing on cakes | themed cakes | flavor modifications | sugar flowers | fondant

We book month-to-month - the available dates for ordering are listed on the calendar below. If the date is blocked out it's already full or it's a day we're not open. Please refrain from asking for these dates in the notes section if they're already not available. 

PBG operates Wednesdays - Saturdays, and is delivery only. Pick up is available upon request if you're a returning customer. It will also be offered as an option if the delivery schedule is already full. Punctuality is expected and appreciated.

If you need a cake for a day we're not open - the best option is to opt for a chocolate flavor or a cheesecake - these hold up best if it'll be 2-3 days before consuming. Vanilla cakes will keep well for 1-2 days before consuming. Sponge cakes should be eaten the day they're picked up (which is the day they're made.)

This is an order request form, please note no orders are fully confirmed until you've recieved an email confirmation from Nic or Rose and have paid in full. Please allow 2-4 days response time.

Terms and Conditions

Cancellation Policy for commissioned cakes

Payment in full is required to secure your order and all sales are final. When ordering a cake, we require 3 days (72 hours) notice for any changes to your original order. PICNIC has a no cancellations policy but incase of an emergency or if your event is canceled and it’s beyond your control, we are happy to move your cake order to a later date or issue a future PICNIC credit. Thank you for understanding our policy. We will always do our best to be flexible to individual needs.

Allergies or Ingredient Sensitivities

All items are made in a kitchen shared with wheat, soy, milk, eggs, peanuts and tree nuts. If you have any major food allergies or intolerances, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate your order.

Non-Liability

In the event of a worst case scenario, PICNIC Baked Goods LLC  is not liable for any non-supply. By ordering from PICNIC you are agreeing to the terms that PICNIC operates as a private pastry chef for all intents and purposes.

Ordering, payment, collection, and delivery

PICNIC is delivery preferred. If you request a pick up, you must be on time. No exceptions. Failing to be punctual may result in not getting your cake, which PICNIC Baked goods LLC is not liable for. Arrive within the stated pick up window - punctuality is expected and appreciated.

Once the order inquiry has been placed and confirmed, an invoice will be emailed to you. Payment in full is required to finalise and confirm your order. Prices are subject to change until your order is paid for. If you are buying a cake to be delivered as a gift for someone, please ensure you have their full delivery address and contact number. If the address or contact number is incorrect, this may result in a redelivery fee. Delivery fees for celebration cakes are the same as shown below. 

DELIVERIES ARE CALCULATED BY TIME & MILEAGE - $0.7/MILE + $25/HR TRAVEL TIME, RT, FROM RIMROCK CA.

Please note a local mobile number is required for someone at the delivery location - please state this in your order email. If you are buying an item to be delivered as a gift for someone, please ensure you have their full delivery address and contact number. If the address or contact number is incorrect, it may result in a redelivery fee. If you will not be home during the delivery window, please indicate a safe plate to leave the cake(s). Frosting does not do well in a hot place. Items will need to be refrigerated shortly after delivery so please take this into consideration if you will not be home during the delivery hours, and prepare refrigerator space. During the winter in the high desert your cakes will theoretically be fine at room temperature. During the summer (unless you have very good air conditioning - cakes will need to be refrigerated. 

Cake Storage & Fresh Fruit and Flowers

All cakes with frosting/any fresh flowers should be kept in a cool place or fridge between collection and serving. We advise taking the cake out of the fridge one hour before serving to allow it to come up to room temperature. We advise serving cakes with fruit and/or flowers on the day of collection or delivery. Please note the beautiful fresh flowers are decorative and while they are food-safe, they should not be consumed and are not intended to be. In the event of failure to follow these guidlines - PICNIC Baked Goods LLC is not liable for any side effects after consumption.
