    2025 Vendors
  • Please join us for the 5th Annual Families Crafting Change Holiday Market!

History: This event is a fundrasiser organized by members and admins of South Seattle Stroller Brigade (SSSB) with the goal of channeling our crafty energy to benefit many of the elementary schools in our area! Impressed by the work of SE Seattle Schools Fundraising Alliance (SESSFA) to find a more equitable way of funding PTA/PTO support of schools, we thought it was a natural fit to have SESSFA be our beneficiary. We have given 10%+ of sales to them each year and have been extra thankful that what is raise is matched by a wonderful community donor!

In 2024, we were able to donate a total of $18,000 to SESSFA!

    This year:

Holiday Market on Saturday, Nov 29th (location TBD)

Additionally, we plan to promote sales in posts within our Facebook group so each vendor will have a post where they can promote pre-sales, pre-orders, etc. More on this later.

Proceeds from Vendor fees (plus 10% of sales) will be donated to the Southeast Seattle Schools Fundraising Alliance (SESSFA) which is an equitable way for fundraising to benefit the broader community rather than just one school!

Check out more details about this project!

    Timeline:

Vendor Applications: priority given to applications received by Oct 20th.
Vendor line up announcements: by October 25th

If your application is submitted after Oct 20th, your acceptance will depend on the overall categories of items already approved and our disire to be as diverse as possible! That said, as of Oct 21st, will likely still actively welcome additional vendors.

If accepted as a vendor, we will update you regarding our planning so you can prepare! We will then add you to a facebook group to help acclimate you to how things will work (optional)

    Requirements:

    • Application form submitted
    • 3-5 Photos emailed to Families.Crafting.Change@gmail.com Please include the same name as listed on your application on each photo.
    • Must be available during in person sale
    • Fee is $55 for vendors (which covers rental location with any remaining funds donated) Additionally, we ask that you donate 10% of what you sell.
      • Prior vendors have an early bird approval and option to pay $45 if applied and paid prior to 20 September)
      • Student vendors (SPS) must apply but the fee can be waived if you prefer- but you would still need to contribute 10% of sales for the fundraiser

    Recommended (but not required):

    • Have at least one item that is in the $5 or under
    • Since we will be promoting our event on social media, we recommend that you have a Facebook account (and ideally Instagram) so we can tag you on posts but it is ok if you don't.

    Important notes:

    • Items can be holiday-specific but we seek to be inclusive of any/all winter celebrations and traditions.
    • We will attempt to curate the list of vendors so that folks are not selling similar products.

Please complete the form below and send your questions to: Families.Crafting.Change@gmail.com

  • Just as an FYI, we have had several vendors in the crochet category and ceramics/pottery.  Prior vendors that are local will be prioritized in these categories. If you are wanting to sell in these categories, you can still apply. We will consider your application based on style (photos) to see if your work is different than others).

We could use more vendors selling items for men!

  • Returning vendors!  Hello!  we would like to offer you a quick pre-approval and early bird pricing if you apply and pay by 20 September.  The fee is $45 ($10 off) and we look forward to working with you again!

  • Student vendors!  We are so pleased that you are applying! This fundraiser supports your schools and it is amazing to have you be part of this!  Please note that we are looking for quality crafting.  Items like rainbow loom bracelets, shrinkydinks are less likely to be approved. Some prior and current student vendors have sold lotion bars, candles, paper squishies, perler bead earrings, etc. We hope to have good variety and not have lots of vendors selling the same things. If you have any questions about what you sell, please go ahead and fill out the application or message us at families.crafting.change@gmail.com.

  • Hello new vendors!  We're so glad you are here!

  • THANK YOU!

We appreciate your interest in being a vendor for the 5th Families Crafting Change event!

Don't forget! We cannot consider your application until you email us photos of your items.  Ideally 3-5 should be sufficient.    Families.Crafting.Change@gmail.com
