We are inviting applications to participate in Columba 1400 Head Teachers’ Leadership Academies. We have 112 places available for Cohorts 122 – 130, and will be allocating places to ensure a representation on each cohort from Additional Support Needs, Virtual Heads, Early Years, Primary and Secondary Schools and a good geographical spread across cohorts. Priority will be given to schools in SMID 1 and 2 and with a high percentage of free school meals.
We are grateful to The Hunter Foundation for underwriting all the costs of the HTLAs, and we are asking participants to make a contribution of £500(+VAT)
This will cover full participation in each of the three phases of the Head Teachers’ Leadership Academy.
Phase One: Two preparatory days – delivered online. These prepare senior leaders for the residential experience based on discussion around values-based leadership.
Phase Two: residential at the Blair Estate, Dalry – this is an opportunity to address crucial leadership questions at an individual and collective level.
Phase Three: continue to develop leadership potential and connect with others within the HTLA Scotland-wide alumni network. There will be a follow up session in person.
Those who are not successful in this first round of cohorts will be placed on to our waiting list.
