Calling all photographers professional and amateur! This is a rare opportunity to capture the stunning views of the San Francisco Bay from our historic vessel. On Tuesday July 9th, 2024, while we are closed to the public, the museum is hosting a photography day which will allow photographers access to our historic WWII aircraft carrier. Registration locations includes the Hanger Bays, Flight Deck, Fan Tail and Foc'sle. Additional spaces may be available at extra cost and are available by pre registration only.
This opportunity is open to all types of sessions including--but not limited to--fashion, fine art, model, and family shoots. There is no charge for additional clients or crew. Photographers must escort their clients to and from the entrance and their shoot location. There is no touring allowed. Any guests caught exploring the ship outside of their shoot location will forfeit their registration fee and be escorted off the ship.
