  • A little about us & what we do:

    We are a seasonal operation, offering weekend opportunities during our Spring, Fall, and Christmas seasons, when we host thousands of happy guests on the farm. We also host weekday school field trips each Spring, Fall, and Christmas season. We accept applications year-round, but hiring events & interviews take place February - March & July - September.

  • Weekday Field Trips

    (Must be 18+) - this crew works together to facilitate field trips for Pre-K - 5th grade students on weekdays each semester. Field Trip team roles include hayride drivers, fire pit managers, attraction attendants, retail sales, and lunchroom attendants. A farmhand who is successful in this role will be comfortable with working outdoors, interacting with students, parents and teachers; they will be team players, responsible, and detail-oriented.

  • Farm Crew

    This crew delights the guests who come to the Farm. Farm Crew consists of the Retail Team, Attractions Team, Farm & Fun Sales Team, and Parks Team.

  • RETAIL SALES - these crew members are the sales superstars in our gift shops & retail carts. They are knowledgeable about our inventory and are passionate about finding the perfect Mainstay product for each guest. They handle cash and credit card sales using our tablet-based Point-of-Sale system. Farmhands who succeed in this position are comfortable with technology, enjoy talking to guests of all ages, have a strong attention to detail, are problem solvers, are comfortable with handling money, and are committed to delivering joy to every customer.*
  • ATTRACTIONS - this crew is responsible for the operation, supervision, and safety enforcement of our rides and attractions on the farm. This is a high energy, high guest-impact position, on the front lines of the fun! Farmhands who succeed here are confident, able to work full shifts outdoors & on their feet, enjoy talking and interacting with guests, and have a passion for keeping our guests safe. (Must be 18 or older to drive the hayride or train. Must be 16 or older to operate mechanical rides.)*
  • FARM & FUN SALES - these crew members bring the fun across the farm through onsite sales & fantastic service. Work stations include the Ticket Sales, Face Painting, Pumpkin Barn, Cut-Your-Own flowers, Christmas Trees, Mega Blasters, Paintball, and Animal Barn. Farmhands who succeed on this team love to serve, are cool under pressure, have high energy, enjoy chatting & interacting with our farm guests, can work full shifts outdoors, and look for ways to answer guest inquiries with kindness and enthusiasm.*
  • PARK SERVICES - these farmhands help keep all the moving parts of the farm in working order, both behind the scenes & directly with guests. Positions may rotate throughout the day, meaning working in multiple areas during a single shift, and may be team-based or solitary. Areas include parking, maintenance, ride safety, groundskeeping, and clean crew. Farmhands who succeed in this position are ready to go with the flow & do what is needed, are problem solvers, and will look for ways to meet and exceed Mainstay standards of excellence in every area of the farm.*
  • Food Crew

    These crew members are responsible for the production and distribution of our fabulous farm food. In this role, you'll typically be a part of a kitchen team. Positions include food prep, line cooks, expeditors, and cashiers. Venues include concessions (snacks, sweets & drinks) and entree kitchens (The Grill, Eat Here Pizza, Chicken & Tacos, Frank's Corndogs, and the prep kitchen). Farmhands who succeed in these roles enjoy a fast-paced environment, are able to stay on their feet, provide superior customer service, have a drive for excellence and attention to detail, and are flexible and supportive team players. Kitchen experience preferred, but not required! Food Handler's License required before starting work.

  • WINERY TEAM- these crew members will be representing Mainstay's newest agricultural expansion: WINE! In this role, you'll be a part of a team of servers, cashiers and attendants who will act as ambassadors of the Mainstay Farm Winery story, and experts on the wines we serve. Farmhands who succeed in this role enjoy a fast-paced environment, can energetically and enthusiastically interact with guests while providing top-notch service, are able to stay on their feet, and have a drive for excellence and attention to detail. Bar experience preferred. TABC certification (18 yrs and older) must be obtained before starting work.*
