    The Resources for Youth Success & Empowerment (RYSE) Assessment Center in Durham County is looking to appoint two youth members to its advisory board. Members of the board will provide oversight and guidance to the center. Youth members will be able to bring a wealth of knowledge about what their generation/peers are in need of. The board will meet quarterly to discuss and evaluate the center's goals, purpose, and implementation of services. You must meet these qualifications to be a Youth Member At-Large: Be between the ages 14-17, able to commit to quarterly meetings and supporting the Center for a one-year term, must live in Durham County. It is preferred that youth was/is involved in the following systems as juvenile: Youth Home, Juvenile Justice, Mental Health, or Community-Based Programs. Applications should be submitted by 5pm on December 12th, 2025. They will be reviewed, and two applicants will be chosen.
  • You must meet these qualifications to be a Youth Member At-Large:

    Between the ages 14-17

    Able to commit to quarterly meetings and supporting the Center for a one-year term

    Must live in Durham County

    Preferred: Was/Is involved in the following systems as juvenile: Youth Home, Juvenile Justice, Mental Health, Community-Based Programs
