*Using the principles of circularity expands upon the concept of the 3 R's (reduce, reuse, recycle) to turn the linear consumption pattern of make, use, waste, into a circular one where fewer resources are extracted and less waste is generated.  This is accomplished through the 3 R's as well as upcycling, sharing, buying second hand, renting, donating etc.  See more about this in the consumption areas of this website.
