Becoming an American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor is an investment in your career and an opportunity to make a difference in your community. To ensure you’re fully prepared, please review the requirements below before registering for our AHA BLS Instructor Course.

Course Tuition:

•$285 – Includes classroom instruction, skills session, and hands-on training with experienced instructors.

Additional Required Purchases:

To meet AHA guidelines and successfully complete the instructor course, you are responsible for purchasing the following materials:

1.AHA BLS Instructor Essentials Online Course

•This is a required online component from the AHA that must be completed prior to the skills session.

•Cost: $41.20

2.AHA BLS Instructor Manual

•A comprehensive resource you’ll use to teach BLS courses.

•Cost: $47.05

3.AHA BLS Provider Digital Course Videos

•Required for teaching classes, these videos ensure consistency in content delivery.

•Cost: $99.00

Required Equipment:

•Access to manikins and AED training devices is mandatory for teaching your own courses.

•Specific equipment requirements may vary, so please ensure you have the necessary tools to conduct your classes effectively.

•Cost: $250-$2,000

All purchases are the responsibility of the participant and must be secured before you can begin instructing your own BLS courses.

Once you register for the BLS Intructor Course, you will be sent an email with information on how to purchase each of these items to prepare for class.

Instructor Candidates are REQUIRED to possess a Basic Life Support certification before becoming an instructor. You may continue to register, and must take a BLS Provider Course before the Instructor Course date.

BLS Instructor Course Refund Policy

Please note that enrollment in the BLS Instructor Trainer course at Winder CNA Training is non-refundable. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, so we offer the following rescheduling option:

•Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule, you must provide notice at least one day prior to the course date. We will accommodate one rescheduling request per participant. If notice is not given one day prior, your spot will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact our support team.

This policy clearly communicates the non-refundable nature of the course and the conditions under which rescheduling is allowed, ensuring that students are well-informed.

The rescheduling notice must be sent to our address or emailed to
cancel@windercna.com.

Waiver of Liability

I, {studentName}, acknowledge that my participation in the training program offered by Winder CNA Training involves physical activity, including but not limited to clinical skills practice and potentially strenuous activities.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the program, I agree to assume all risks and responsibilities for any injury or medical condition that I may sustain or aggravate during the course of the program. I understand that the program may involve physical and mental challenges, and I am responsible for ensuring that I am in good health and suitable physical condition to participate.

I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Winder CNA Training, its instructors, employees, and any affiliated entities from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, actions, causes of action, costs, and expenses, whether at law or in equity, whether known or unknown, arising out of or connected with my participation in the training program.

I understand that this Waiver of Liability Agreement is binding upon me, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns. I have read and voluntarily signed this agreement, and I acknowledge that I fully understand its contents.
