What we expect of you:
- To be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. To be able to walk and stand throughout a four-hour shift.
- To have a valid email account that is not shared or used by anyone other than you. We will use email to communicate with all volunteers.
- To be prompt and reliable.
- To notify us immediately if you must reschedule or arrive late to one of your shifts.
- To work cooperatively with the Americana Music Association staff and fellow volunteers.
Please note:
- To be considered as a returning volunteer in the future then you must meet all of the expectations above.
- Positions are filled on an as-needed basis. The selection of positions on this form does not guarantee those positions.
- To receive perks, volunteers are required to work a minimum of 12 hours. You will be scheduled in 4-8 hour shifts.
- You must notify us immediately if you must reschedule one of your shifts. Please note, if you "no show" then you will be invoiced for the cost of the pass you receive.
- You will be notified no later than August 15th if you have been selected to volunteer. Please be patient.
