If you currently have a scholarship, please include how you have progressed as a result of the scholarship and what you hope to learn moving forward. (75-150 words)

Community Involvement (to be completed by student applicant): Americana Music Academy believes that music and community are vitally intertwined. How do you participate in your local community, and/or how will you give back as a result of your music education? This can look many different ways: sharing music with family and friends, playing at local jams and open mics, volunteering for AMA or at other local organizations, etc. The Scholarship Committee is especially interested to learn about any musical involvement you might have in your community, but you should not limit your response exclusively to musical participation. Note that the committee will take age-appropriateness into consideration for younger applicants. (75-150 words)
