Parent/Caregiver Personal Statement: Please explain how you hope your student might benefit from the scholarship. How is music important in your student's life, and why do they want to take lessons? If your student currently has a scholarship please include how they have progressed or been impacted as a result of the scholarship. (75-150 words)
Community Involvement (to be completed by parent or caregiver): Americana Music Academy believes that music and community are vitally intertwined. How does your student participate in their local community, and/or how will they give back as a result of their music education? This can look many different ways: sharing their music with family members, playing in band or orchestra at school, volunteering for AMA or at other local organizations, etc. The Scholarship Committee is especially interested to learn about any musical involvement the student might have in their community, but you should not limit your response exclusively to musical participation. Note that the committee will take age-appropriateness into consideration. (75-150 words)
