    Please read carefully and understand the Pre/Post Care for Mona Lisa Touch Laser
    It is important to follow your treatment provider's instructions before and after treatment.

    Pre-Treatment Recommendations: Patient

    • Shower or bathe the morning of treatment so that the area to be treated is clean.
    • Dress in loose fitting clothes and cotton underwear.
    • Clip or trim long pubic hair as advised by your physician.
    • Understand and sign the Consent to Treat form.
    • If you have a history of Genital Herpes, you will need to take an antiviral prior to and following the procedure. Please let Dr. Sodoma know so she can prescribe this for you.
    • Purchase Aquaphor Healing Ointment or Vaseline Ointment
    • Gentle Hypoallergenic skin cleanser.

    24 Hour Post Treatment Instructions:

    • Schedule follow up visits as recommended by your treatment provider.
    • Apply ice pack 20 min on 20 min off while awake after the procedure.
    • Apply Aquaphor or Vaseline after bathing or showering daily.
    • Refrain from vaginal or vulvar sexual activity 7 days after treatment.
    • Most patients resume normal activity as tolerated immediately after procedure.
