Volunteering at the Catfé allows you to work with cats and people!
We prefer ages 16+
Must be a hard worker & proactive person seeking a community service opportunity
Help take care of the kitties for 1.5 hours a day by:
- Scooping litter boxes
- Washing litter boxes & scoopers
- Sweeping, vacuuming & mopping
- Cleaning surfaces
- Refilling food & water
- Monitoring the cat cave
Cleaning is the biggest part of volunteering here. Scooping litter helps us & our cats a bunch!
Lifting up to 25 lbs. is recommended: our litter and food bags are heavy.
CATS. Take GREAT care of them! Try to socialize the shy ones after helping with cleaning.
We volunteer to take care of the cats, people, and the cafe itself! Although there may be time to play with them, volunteering = cleaning & helping out wherever needed, customers = playing with cats for an hour.
We may turn you away if we see repetetive, unacceptable behavior.
