Mission, Vision, Values. Jamii is a Pan-African organization that operates as a multilingual communications team for mission-driven community organizations. We help people build movements in more than one language. Our work is also designed to co-create and grow a solidarity economy among language workers and movement builders to help resource our collective pursuit of liberation.

We're pro-Black, pro-LGBTQ+, and pro-liberation. The people who provide language support in the spaces we co-create have to hold people's humanity with care. That part is not negotiable.

Our mission is to shift the "one-language-fits-all" approach to building movements for social justice while centering the needs of people of African descent.

Our big vision is to create a multilingual, transnational community of Black, Pan-African and pro-Black people unified for collective liberation.
