• Camp Misquah Kitchen Staff Screening

    The following questions will provide an initial screening for candidates interested in working at Camp Misquah this summer
  • I am aware that an overnight (residential) summer camp means that as a staff I will work full days and sleep onsite for 6 days at a time.*
  • I am aware that in working at camp I will be in a largely outdoor environment, spending a lot of time outside, and within nature.*
  • I am aware that accommodations at camp are shared accommodations. I will have my own bed but it will be in the same cabin(room) as other people.*
  • I am available for on-site training from July 3-7 and at least one of the sessions shown on the camp calendar linked here.*
  • I understand that salary for an overnight summer camp is adjusted to account for the fact that food and housing is provided and the $2500-2700 listed salary is the salary for a full 8 weeks of work from July 3rd to August 23rd. (Partial length contracts will have salary adjusted proportionally)*
  • I have read the job description (found in our link tree or on our website) and am comfortable and interested in doing kitchen skills such as dishwashing and food preparation*
  • I am aware that to work at Camp Misquah I will be required to provide a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening (or if under 18 I will be asked to sign an offense declaration stating that I have no criminal convictions)*
