School Grounds Membership Registration 2024-2025

Complete this form to register to be a School Grounds Network Member for the September 2024 - June 2025 school year. Registration for the 2024 - 2025 school year must be completed by October 20th, 2024 and renewed annually to continue to qualify for City Green's School Grounds services. If you would like early fall school garden services, we recommend completing this form on or before September 1st.
School Grounds Membership Service Area

City Green has updated School Grounds services available to schools based on location. See below for details and indicate whether your school is within or outside of the service area.
Schools within the School Grounds Network Membership are divided into two categories: “Within Service Area” and “Outside Service Area.”

Schools within City Green’s service area will include: All municipalities in Passaic County, Elmwood Park, Garfield, Lodi, Bloomfield, Nutley, Belleville, and Montclair.

Schools within the service area have access to the following services and resources through the School Grounds Network Membership:
- Monthly newsletters with garden tips and curricular resources
- Free seed and seedling kits in the spring and fall
- Discounted bags of compost in the fall
- Ongoing teacher workshops from City Green on Zoom and in-person
- Virtual troubleshooting and garden consultation
- Educator-led garden clean-ups in the spring and fall
- Discounted garden additions, repairs, and bed replacements
- Site visit consultations
- In-school field trips
Schools outside the service area have access to the following services and resources through the School Grounds Network Membership:
- Monthly newsletters with garden tips and curricular resources
- Free seed and seedling kits in the spring and fall
- Discounted bags of compost in the fall
- Ongoing teacher workshops from City Green on zoom and in-person
- Annual School Gardening 101 workshop / refresher
- Virtual troubleshooting and garden consultation
