CC Sports Club is opening badminton registration from July to Dec 2024. The membership plan details are below. Please select the appropriate membership plan and submit the form to reserve your spot. Every participant/member needs to fill out the membership & agreement form. For minor participant/member, parent/guardian should complete the forms.

Where we play?

Membership Rules Revision:

1. Adult members must be 14 years and older. Players aged 13 and younger are considered junior players and are welcome to play free if their parents are paid members.

2. Juniors who's parents are not paid members can play for a fee.

3. Club will not allow mix-match of single and family packages. All special situations to be handled on a case by case basis by the club.

4. Members can play only on the days they sign-up and assigned for. No replacement or substitution for missed days.

5. No walk-in visitors are allowed. All visitors will need to sign a waiver, get approval from one of the directors and pay a $10 fee in advance for single day play.

6. Due to high cost and increasing demand, club will be limiting the supply of feathered birdies. Limited feather birdies will be provided for the assigned days/courts. Plastic birdies will be introduced to suplement feather birdies. However members are free to bring their own birdies.

7. Court Rule – After each game all 4 players must step out of the court, no exceptions. This is to ensure a fair opportunity for standby players to regroup a team and play. If this rule isn’t regularly followed, Club will consider implementing a white board method to allow fair open play.

8. Safety – Though not mandatory, the club encourages players to use court shoes/basketball shoes and safety goggles.

CC SPORTS CLUB AGREEMENT AND RELEASE

Agreement

The Corpus Christi Sports Club (“CC Sports Club”) has organized badminton and volleyball activities for its members and leased space and time in facilities where such activities occur in reliance on the following agreement and release to be executed and delivered by each Participant prior to participating in any CC Sports Club activity.
1. Participant acknowledges and agrees that his/her participation in the CC Sports Club is voluntary and Participant may elect not to participate in the CC Sports Club at any time. Participant further acknowledges and agrees that the CC Sports Club may elect to terminate his/her participation in the CC Sports Club at any time for any reason in the discretion of the CC Sports Club.
2. Participant acknowledges and agrees that it is Participant’s responsibility to obey any and all rules and regulations of the CC Sports Club and of the facility where such activities occur.
3. Participant acknowledges and agrees that the safety of Participant is Participant’s responsibility and Participant hereby assumes any and all risk associated with participation in the CC Sports Club.
4. Participant acknowledges and agrees that Participant is responsible for any damage to the facility or its equipment that is caused by Participant.
Release From Liability

PARTICIPANT HEREBY RELEASES THE CC SPORTS CLUB AND EACH AND EVERY ONE OF ITS ORGANIZERS AND MEMBERS (THE “CC SPORTS CLUB PARTIES”) AND AGREES TO HOLD THE CC SPORTS CLUB PARTIES HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY CLAIMS OR CAUSES OF ACTION OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY CLAIMS FOR PERSONAL INJURY, THAT RESULT FROM OR IN ANY WAY ARISE IN CONNECTION WITH ANY PARTICIPATION IN THE CC SPORTS CLUB. PARTICIPANT GRANTS THIS RELEASE OF HIS/HER OWN FREE WILL AND DOES SO IN EXCHANGE FOR BEING ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CC SPORTS CLUB. THE CC SPORTS CLUB PARTIES ARE ALLOWING PARTICIPATION IN THE CC SPORTS CLUB BY PARTICIPANT ONLY IN RELIANCE ON THIS RELEASE AND WOULD NOT ALLOW SUCH PARTICIPATION IN THE ABSENCE OF THIS RELEASE.
