The mission of TheVillage is to provide economical services, so it's important to price this service reasonably or base the pricing on the value it brings.
Village Mates have the option to find matches independently, but this may involve waiting for compatible matches to be posted or engaging only with those who respond to their own match posts. TheVillage offers a free questionnaire guide to aid Village Mates in their matching process. As a MatchMaker, you have the ability to customize these questions to cater to specific match types and situations. By consulting with each Village Mate to understand their needs, wants, lifestyle, personality, and environment, you can effectively match them with compatible partners. Additionally, being a Community Developer, and offering guidance on Village management is also part of your role.
Individuals in this position should embody an entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrating a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving. Additionally, they should possess exceptional interpersonal, communication, and sales abilities in order to thrive in this role.
This service has the potential to provide a full-time income while operating entirely remotely. Connecting with clients may involve phone and video calls. You can also provide the option of personal meetups and home visits at an additional cost to facilitate the initial meeting between Village Mate candidates. The income potential for this role is significant and largely depends on how you structure your program and offer your services.
Responsibilities:
- Create a sales program to facilitate match making compatibility.
- Conduct meetings with Village Mates to understand their wants and needs within their village.
- Interact with Village Mates on different social media platforms.
- Contribute to the growth of TheVillage by creating online content promoting TheVillage and your services.
- Manage your clients effectively and actively engage them ensuring their match compatibility.
- Assist with Village Mate queries and concerns.
- Works independently and with management to ensure programs and services represent the goals and mission of TheVillage.
- Implements best practices for successful Village Mate Relationships.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of sales, consulting and negotiation experience.
- At least 2 years of project management.
- Proven sales track record.
- Management experience is a plus.
- Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Works well independently.
This is a remote 1099 commission position. In person visits with Village Mates are suggested as an added service to increase Village Mate experience.
Pay range for this position is up to - $100,000+ annually.
