  • Family Safety Center Questionnaire

Adams County and many community partners are coming together to work on creating a safe place for people who are currently experiencing or who have experienced violence (including experiences like domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking). This center would be a place where our community could come and have access to many services all in one place. Some of the options community members would have available would include things like help with resources (such as housing, Medicaid, TANF, etc.), getting a protection / restraining order, therapy services, talking to a victim advocate, getting a forensic interview, and speaking with people involved in criminal justice (police, prosecutors, victim advocates). We know that this center will only be successful if we have YOUR voice at the table. Seeking your input on the following questions is our first step in making sure this center is built around your needs. In these questions, we are looking for information on what was or would have been helpful and supportive, and encourage you to share about your experience in looking for safety. Once the survey is completed, you will also be redirected to a form where you can enter to a win a $100 gift card and to share your information if you would like to continue being involved in the planning of the Family Safety Center-and we hope that you are interested in staying involved!
