REGISTRATION FEE:

$20 for womens leauge or $20 per team for mixed- Cash or Venmo (@chelsea-parsons-13)

If you are registering for both you will need to pay for both leagues.

SEASON AND MATCH DETAILS:

Season Duration: June 10th- TBD

Games will be played in Albany at the high school courts.

Match Format: Each match is structured with a best of 3 game setup. First to 11 points and win by at least 2. Played in a duration of an hour. 

Match Start Times Estimate: 6:30/7:30/8:30/9:30- Your weekly match times will vary from one week to the next and will be reflected on the shared leaugue schedule. 

Equipment: You are responsible for your own paddles. There wil be a bucket of balls at the games. 

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION DETAILS:

YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE!!!

Female only or Co-Ed Teams: 

This league will be limited to teams comprised of all females or Co-Ed teams that consist of both males and females. Two males are not permitted to play together as partners (as of now- if enough men register to play they will have their own times).

SIMPLIFIED LEAGUE RULES

Player Conduct: Know the rules, respect everyone, and play fair. Remember we're all here to have fun and compete.

Player Subsitutions: If you or a member of your team is unable to make a match, feel free to tap a sub in your place! We DO NOT tolerate no shows or last minute ghosting of matches, so please be respectful of your opponents and consider finding a sub proactively.

Starting Off: Rock, paper, scissors decides who serves or picks the side. Swap sides and serve orders each game. 

Score Reporting: Teams are responsible for reporting their own match results each week. Given matches are measured by the best of 3 games played, team reported weekly scores will be maximum of 2 and a minimum of 0. Womens League needs to report the points your team scored during the sets you played.

Weather Woes: We've got makeup days built into the schedule (Thursdays). If the weather messes with the schedule we'll let you know and communicate a plan of action. Should inclement weather or other factors limit normally scheduled game duration and more than 1 game has been played, the game shall count as the full game.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY - REVIEW CAREFULLY

 

1. AGREEMENT TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS AND BE

RESPECTFUL.

I agree to observe and obey all posted rules and

warnings, and further agree to follow any oral instructions or

directions given by Albany Pickleball Management. I agree to be

respectful and honest when playing in this league. Failing to do so will

result in being asked to leave. No refund of money paid will be given.

2. ASSUMPTION OF THE RISKS AND RELEASE.

I recognize that there are certain inherent risks associated with the above described

activity and I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself

and my property, and further release and discharge Chelsea and Peyton

Parsons, The City of Albany, Albany Independent School District  and Albany

Pickleball for injury, loss or damage arising out of my use of or

presence upon the facilities at the courts at the City Park or Albany High School, whether caused by the fault of myself, or other third parties.

3. FEES.

I agree to pay for all damages to the facilities of the Albany

City Park Courts caused by any negligent, reckless, or willful actions

by me.
