1..The bus annual fees are settled in three payments in September, in January and in April.
2. In case of cancellation of bus registration, the bus company will apply the UAE Law Chapter 5 Article 52 under Article 8 A, B, C and D to refund the payments.
3. The bus fee charges shall be the same for both one-way and two-way transportation services.
4. Unless a written cancellation request is submitted to the Transportation Department, the service will be considered active and the applicable fees will continue to apply.
5. The bus routes and stops are assigned at the beginning of the academic year. Any request to change the assigned bus stop or location must receive prior approval from the School Management.
6. The students are not necessarily dropped in front of their building; one assembly point for students can sometimes be assigned.
7. Any change in the address during the year, parents must inform the bus department at least one month ahead. A place is not automatically guaranteed. It depends on the availability and the location.
8. Students are not allowed to use other bus than the one they usually take. They are also not allowed to be dropped off at a bus stop other than the one they usually stop at.
9. The timetables and the assigned stops must be respected.
10. Parents are not allowed to get inside the bus under any circumstances. For any complaint, they shouldcontact the bus department.
11. The school does not provide bus transportation services to TPS students.
12. Students from PS to CM2 are not allowed to be dropped off by themselves (If the person responsible for receiving the student is not present at the designated point the bus is required to transport the student back to school).
13. Parents of PS students must provide car seats for their children, which will be used inside the bus during the whole academic year.
14. Students must be seated according to the seat assigned by the bus supervisor.
15. Parents are responsible and will be charged for any damages caused by their children in the bus.
16. A designated person at the bus stop must accompany students from Grades PS until CM2.
17. To comply with ITC regulations and transportation schedules, the bus will not wait for students at their designated stop during pick-up or drop-off. Parents and students must be present and ready at the assigned time to ensure adherence to the approved route and maximum journey time requirements.
18. The bus transportation service is only in charge of the students while him/her are present on the bus.
19. For security reasons, students must be quite and calm during the bus rides and must:
- Be seated properly with the seatbelt on.
- Respect the equipment’s/ No pushing or horseplay /Stay seated during the bus ride.
- No screaming, No fighting/ No food or drinks / Follow instructions of the bus nanny and respect regulations.
- Students in CM2 and below are not allowed to use any electronic device such as: tablets, mobile phones, or any other gadgets.
20. The bus company will suspend students from the bus service once they have three written warning reports.
21. Pick-up and drop-off times may vary depending on the school schedule, traffic conditions, and operational requirements. The Bus Supervisor or the Transportation Department will inform parents of any significant changes.
22. Route schedules are established based on the first morning pick-up route and the first drop-off route. These scheduled timings do not apply to the drop off trip, which may vary according to operational requirements and student distribution.
