  • Welcome to the 2025 Lightning in a Bottle application for the Lightning Team program. Please read the following information carefully and fill out the fields below to the best of your ability.

    If you were referred by a department manager, please list their name on the third page of the application.

    The first step is to complete this form in it's entirety. You will then be provided a link in your confirmation email to add yourself to the TIXR waitlist. You will need to provide contact info and credit card info at this point. You will not be charged until your application is accepted but TIXR will run an authorization when you place yourself on the waitlist.

    NO APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED WITHOUT BOTH THIS FORM BEING COMPLETED AND YOU ADDING YOURSELF TO THE WAITLIST. 

    If you are accepted to the Lightning Team, you will receive an acceptance letter. At this time your credit card will be charged (including Tixr fees). Upon fulfillment of the contract and validation of that fulfillment, you will receive compensation in the form of a refund to the credit card used to purchase the ticket. Refunds generally can be  expected within 15 business days from the day the festival closes. You will not receive an acceptance letter until February and possibly as late as March. This is the normal time frame so please wait until that time to reach out if you have not heard back.

    PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE ABLE TO PURCHASE AN UPFRONT FESTIVAL PASS AND ARE ABLE TO WORK THE DATES YOU HAVE LISTED ON YOUR APPLICATION.

    If you are accepted and need to cancel, you have until FRIDAY, APRIL 18th to do so in order to be refunded if you have already purchased your festival pass.

    After you have been accepted, you will be sent a link to choose your Lightning Team shifts online. Shifts are first come, first serve.

    The Lightning Team application is intended to evaluate suitability for the program.   • Timeline

    • February -  Status of application emails will be sent out from lightningteam@thedolab.com
    • March - Shifts will be available to schedule 
    • May 7 to 22 - Pre-Event (10 hour shifts)
    • May 21 to 26 - During Event (6 hour shifts)
    • May 27 to June 8 - Post-Event (10 hours shifts)
    • Late June - Deposits will be refunded if shifts have been fulfilled
  • Lightning Team Agreement

    You will be able to schedule to work in either pre, during, or post-event positions, based on what you were approved for on your application. Pre and post-event are only for the build team, operations team, boutique camping build team, and catering. If accepted, you will get to schedule your own shifts in April, so you can schedule with friends, or at times that work for you. DJ sets and performance times are subject to change, (please note, music set times will not go out before you schedule).

    You cannot arrive earlier than the night before you are scheduled to work for pre-event, nor work longer than the required days without permission from the Lightning Team Manager. You can only work on the days you are scheduled to work.

    Although we appreciate your participation, ambition, and eagerness to get started or stay longer than what has been permitted, failure to follow the guidelines set forth may result in the immediate termination of your Lightning Team agreement and/or consideration of any future partnership.

  • Lightning Team Responsibilities

    • Shifts are first-come, first-served. Schedule your shifts in the scheduling system based on the department you were selected for (If you have been requested by a department manager, your department manager may be scheduling your shifts with you directly). 
    • Show up on time to all shifts, ready to work, wearing your Lightning Team or Green Team t-shirt, CLOSED-TOED SHOES (required for safety, no matter what department you are working in), sober, and complete your shifts.
    • If you are altered in any way, you WILL NOT be allowed to work your shift and your deposit of $425 (not including ticketing fees) WILL NOT be refunded to you.  
    •  You can only work the days you are scheduled to work. Those schedules are set and cannot be altered. You cannot do additional days unless you are in the scheduling system to do so. Please complete all your shifts in order to have your deposit refunded.
  • LIST OF DEPARTMENTS / DESCRIPTION OF ROLES

    Pre-event Commitment (May 5 to May 20, 2025)

    For being on the Lightning Team, you will also receive the below for working three (3) days (up to but not exceeding) ten (10) hours per day; 

    • 1 General Admission festival wristband

    • Free onsite camping in designated LTM campground

    • Free showers pre-event on days you are working

    • Full catering (breakfast, lunch, dinner) on working days

    • 1 Lightning Team 2025 t-shirt 

    • A rideshare board link just for Lightning Team

      NOTE: This does not include car or RV camping passes, please visit www.libfestival.org to purchase your car or RV camping pass.  
  • During Event Commitment (May 21 to May 25, 2025)

    For being on the Lightning Team, you will also receive the below for working four (4), six (6) hour days;

    • 1 General Admission festival wristband
    • 2 shower tickets
    • 2 food vendor vouchers
    • 1 Lightning Team 2025 t-shirt
    • A rideshare board link just for Lightning Team
    • A Lightning Team Manual with Guidelines and FAQs

  • Post-event Commitment (May 26 to June 4, 2025)

    For being on the Lightning Team, you will also receive the below for working three (3) days (up to but not exceeding) ten (10) hours per day;

    • 1 General Admission festival wristband
    • Free onsite camping in designated LTM campground
    • Free showers post-event on days you are working
    • Full catering (breakfast, lunch, dinner) on working days
    • 1 Lightning Team 2025 t-shirt
    • A rideshare board link just for Lightning Team

  • LIGHTNING TEAM AGREEMENT AND LIABILITY RELEASE PARTICIPATION.

  • I acknowledge that I have voluntarily applied to work at Lightning in a Bottle Festival 2025 (the “Event”). I understand that as a Lightning Team member I will be compensated the equivalent the price of the festival pass for my services, however, I will not be covered by nor eligible for any insurance coverage provided or maintained by Do LaB, Inc. (the “Promoter”) and their respective employees, agents, officers, directors, trustees, shareholders, subcommittees, agents, members, employees, contractors, representatives, sponsors, volunteers, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”), including but not limited to medical, property and liability insurance. I further agree that the Promoters of the Event may terminate my participation at any time.  I also understand and acknowledge that in the event I am unable to fully execute and complete my project(s), my festival pass refund will not be honored. That said, in the event the festival is cancelled or postponed due to Covid-19, refunds for this program will be issued.

  • Wristband Pick-Up Info

    If accepted, your wristband WILL NOT be mailed to you. 


    You will need to pick up your wristband at WILL CALL at the box office on-site. Please bring a valid I.D. (Passport, Driver's License, or State ID) and the QR code sent to you in your confirmation email to pick up your wristband. You will not be able to receive your wristband without proper identification. 

    It is highly recommended that you arrive the day before your shift. This will allow you enough time to set up camp and be ready to work and play!

    All LTMs will receive a Parking Pass as part of the LTM Deposit at Will Call upon check-in. You will not need to purchase a Parking Pass as it is already included in your LTM deposit. This parking pass is not valid for car camping or RV camping. Car Camping and RV Passes must be purchased separately through the website www.libfestival.org
