    Application for 2025-2025 Term

  • Thank you for your interest in SHM Advisory Councils.

    Advisory Councils meet with SHM’s CEO at least twice yearly, in summer and winter, to share perspectives from the community. Meetings are virtual. Discussions will range from what’s keeping you awake at night, to what you would like to see from your professional society.

    Advisory Council members may also be asked to respond to emergent questions or receive invitations for additional ad-hoc meetings with staff and other senior leadership.

    If appointed, Advisory Council members may serve for a maximum of two consecutive terms.

Please be aware that at this time in order to maximize member engagement and hear from a larger swath of members we are limiting Advisory Council positions to individuals who currently are not already serving in some volunteer engagement capacity. 

    If it is determined you are serving on a Committee in 2025-2026 you will be removed from consideration.
