Rowing South Australia recognises the important role photography, videography, and media activities play in promoting rowing and recognising participant achievement.
Rowing SA also acknowledges its safeguarding obligations and commitment to supporting child safe sporting environments in accordance with:
- the Rowing Australia National Integrity Framework;
- applicable safeguarding requirements;
- and Rowing SA operational policies and procedures.
To support safeguarding, operational management, and controlled area access requirements, persons undertaking official photography, videography, livestreaming, or media activities within controlled operational areas at Rowing SA events must obtain accreditation from Rowing SA.
Approved media personnel may be required to:
- wear approved high visibility media identification;
- comply with operational directions;
- and operate only within approved areas.
Only approved and accredited media personnel are permitted to undertake official media activities within controlled operational areas on behalf of a club or school.
