  • This form must be completed once per season between July 2026 and April 2027.

    After the first regatta, conditions will be applied to the form to ensure duplicate applications are not received.

     

  • Media Accreditation and Safeguarding Requirements

  • Rowing South Australia recognises the important role photography, videography, and media activities play in promoting rowing and recognising participant achievement.

    Rowing SA also acknowledges its safeguarding obligations and commitment to supporting child safe sporting environments in accordance with:

    • the Rowing Australia National Integrity Framework;
    • applicable safeguarding requirements;
    • and Rowing SA operational policies and procedures.

    To support safeguarding, operational management, and controlled area access requirements, persons undertaking official photography, videography, livestreaming, or media activities within controlled operational areas at Rowing SA events must obtain accreditation from Rowing SA.

    Approved media personnel are required to:

    • wear approved high visibility media identification;
    • comply with operational directions;
    • and operate only within approved areas.

    Only approved and accredited media personnel are permitted to undertake official media activities within controlled operational areas on behalf of a club or school.

    Media activities must be carried out safely, respectfully, and in line with Rowing SA's child-safe expectations and privacy requirements.

  • Restricted Activities

  • The Rowing SA 2026 Photography and Media Policy prohibits photography in change rooms, covert photography, inappropriate filming of children, unauthorised commercial use, and other prohibited conduct.

  • Regatta Operations

  • Accredited media personnel may be permitted access to controlled operational areas during Rowing SA events. Access is subject to compliance with accreditation requirements, event safety controls and operational directions issued by Rowing SA.

  • Declaration

  • By signing below, I confirm and agree that:

    1. the information provided in this application is true and correct
    2. this accreditation application may be verified by Rowing SA
    3. I will comply with the Rowing SA Photography and Media Policy
    4. where I am an independent or volunteer applicant, I am authorised to undertake media activities on behalf of the club/school and that any required WWCC has been verified
    5. where I am supplied by a company/agency engaged by the school or club, that photographer is employed or contracted by the named company/agency and has been screened by that company/agency in accordance with the school's or club's own working with children requirements
    6. all media personnel, including those engaged via a company or agency, must wear an approved high-visibility vest at all times while in controlled operational areas, and must be identifiable by name to Rowing SA officials on request
    7. accreditation may be suspended or revoked where operational, safeguarding, integrity, or behavioural concerns arise; and
    8. failure to comply with Rowing SA operational directions may result in removal from operational areas.
