1. Media Coordinator / Reporter- Providing online media engagement pre-event and during the event.
- Act as a junior reporter, you will have a chance to take a snapshot of the event, assemble key messages, publish the interesting or newsworthy quotes, stories for the general public.
Note that past involvement in media coordination is preferred.
2. Registration & Welcome Team Coordinators/ Event Coordinator:
- Helping with registration each day of the conference and ensuring conference participants/ attendees are in the right location and headed towards the right place.
This position will also be responsible for providing engagements with the guest speakers, helping to build community, greeting people.
3. Session Coordinators/ Tech supports: Ensuring that participants and facilitators have everything that is needed during facilitation and presenting. This role is responsible for troubleshoot, contacted technician in time for the events
4. Stage support: If you are a lover for A/C support, well-versed in visual, lights and sound effect, and experts in stage transitions, this position is for you.
As a WODIL 2024 volunteer, you will have:
-A positive attitude, a friendly and approachable demeanor, a willingness to learn new skills, and a strong commitment to providing a welcoming and inclusive experience for all attendees
-Excellent communication and people skills
-Gain experience working on a large scale event
-Develop skills, such as customer service, technology set-up, time management, leadership
