This is a call for youth advocates, across the Caribbean to write for the Caribbean Youth Climate Manifesto 2024......📢📢📢📢
We would like to hear about your passions, challenges and experiences in the climate space and its effects on your home countries and are looking for Gen Z and Gen Alpha youth advocates from each country to gather input from their "Climate Constituents" and collaborate with other youth advocate representives from other countries to write a piece (300-500 words) long around SDGs specific topics.
Even if you are not chosen as a youth advocate country representative, we are still considering persons to be part of the country's overall voice as well as supporting the SDGs as a whole. All voices will be represented!Â
Additionally, we believe that this Youth Manifesto, which will be developed in tandem with the SDGs and the COP Youth Work, will serve as a driver of youth engagement in climate action and will encourage youth-led solutions.Â
Soooo....tell us why your short piece will be influential enough to be featured in the Caribbean Youth Climate Manifesto 2024🌎🪧.Â
This is an initiative put on by the Journal of Caribbean Environmental Sciences and Renewable Energy (CESaRE) in collaboration with The Cropper Foundation and an adoption organisation which has not been established yet but will eventually be a main participant.Â
