What is Property Identification? "Property Identification" is a basic inventory used to record important information about property you may have that is already identified with some type of serial number or other identification mark such as an engraving. This "Property Identification" form is to be filled out by you and in the event that a theft occurs, investigators can easily identify the property's owner. This database is kept on file at West Texas A&M University and is used for the purpose of identifying recovered stolen property and quickly return it to the rightful owner.
