Sofas For Service, Inc Donation Form

(form rev 7/03/2025) Effective immediately we longer accept offers to donate furniture and household goods over the phone, all offers must be via this form. Make sure you review the What To Donate and What Not To Donate lists on our Facebook or web pages before filling out this form. Furniture and household goods must be new or in like new or gently used condition. Cloth/upholstered furniture must NOT have been in a smoking environment or had pets in the house/apartment. You are always welcome to drop off donated items at at our warehouse during Wednesday or Saturday mornings from 0930-1130 AM.

I need you to pick up (max 35 miles from Altoona, WI).I can bring to the warehouse (Wednesdays and Saturdays 0930-1130 only) no need for us to contact you if you are bringing your donation to the warehouse; just come over and show your items to the warehouse coordinator. Email furniture@sofasforservice.org if you need directions.Contact me to discuss my donation.
Pickups are first come first-served and limited; once the schedule fills up we will try to schedule you on the next run. We are not staffed to ickup on demand and as such we need at least one week to schedule you (the longer the better). If we are picking up please indicate which Wednesday morning you want us to be there in the next field - Wednesdays between 0800-1100 AM is the only time available, our drivers will call you when they are near you. Items must be on the FIRST FLOOR or in the garage on pick-up day.
If the item is a cloth or upholstered sofa, recliner and/or a loveseat has there been pets in the house or smoking? If you check B, C, or D we can't take your items due to allergies that veterans might have.

Many veterans that we serve are often living in smaller apartments so at this time (1/12/2025) we can NOT accept round or large tables, microwave carts, couches with high backs or longer than 80", sofa sleepers, couches and loveseats that recline (too heavy), lift chairs or electric recliners. Electronics must be in working order. You will receive an email copy of your donation form after you click Submit. If in doubt send a photo of the items you want to donate via attached email to furniture@sofasforservice.org
