Application of Update to Champion Title

(Updated June 2001)

1. For Champion, Grand Champion and Double Grand Champion, entire Male cats to have 70 or more points.
2. For Champion, Grand Champion and Double Grand Champion, entire Female cats, Neuter and Spay cats to have 60 or more points.
3. For Bronze Double Grand Champion and higher status awards, all cats to have 100 or more points.
4. Challenges submitted for awards must be in date and show sequence.
5. Points may be carried forward from one title level to another. Carry over points will be indicated on the most recent challenge certificate submitted with an application and that challenge certificate must be returned with the next title update application to verify the carrying over of points.
6. Challenges won at shows conducted by clubs that are affiliated with the Co-ordinating Cat Council of Australia, or any recognised Governing Body, are acceptable as counting towards NSW CFA Championship or higher status awards, provided that there is a compulsory open class and a "Recognition of Challenge" form has been completed if necessary (see Rule 8).
7. Applications for all titles must include a majority of challenge points gained at NSW CFA Affiliate Shows. All challenges will be recognised from Multi-Ring Shows.
8. Challenges won at shows conducted by clubs outside New South Wales which do not contain information on the points awarded must be submitted with a "Recognition of Challenge" form signed by the Show Secretary or Show Manager of the Club concerned. "Recognition of Challenge" forms are available from the NSW Cat Fanciers' Association Office.
9. Points won as an entire cat can be counted towards Championship or higher status for a desexed cat.
10. If a cat is desexed or is subject to a colour change after gaining a title (at any level) it can go on to a higher award status.
11. Challenges awarded by Waratah National Cat Alliance may not be used for NSW CFA Championship awards.
12. Any championship or higher status award won Interstate or Overseas will only be recognised upon verification of the claim to the title, and does not allow for the building of any NSW championship on to a Championship title won elsewhere.
13. All challenges from CCCA National Shows will be recognised and are not subject to Rule 7.
