  • Spring 2026

Direct enrollment course at SSE (optional)

Direct enrollment courses at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) are equivalent in credit hours to Swedish Program courses but follow the Swedish academic calendar, so the same amount of coursework is concentrated into 8 weeks of instruction. Students enrolled in an SSE course will thus have a heavier workload for the first 8 weeks of the semester. Students may only register for 1 SSE course.

Direct enrollment courses can be identified on the website by the double asterisk ** in the course title. All direct enrollment courses have prerequisites. Please carefully review the requirements in the course description. It is your responsibility to confirm that you have completed the required prerequisite(s) prior to registration. For questions about prerequisites or academic requirements, please contact admin@swedishprogram.org.

  • Swedish Program courses

Swedish Program courses follow the American academic calendar and involve 12 weeks of instruction. Courses with an asterisk * are open to students from the Stockholm School of Economics, so you may share the classroom with Swedish and international students.

Many Swedish Program courses have prerequisites. Please carefully review the prerequisites in the course description. It is your responsibility to confirm that you have completed the required prerequisite(s) prior to registration. For questions about prerequisites or academic requirements, please contact admin@swedishprogram.org.
