1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions outline the responsibilities and obligations of employees (hereinafter referred to as "Recipients") who receive IT equipment from Total Training Provision Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "Company").
2. Equipment Issuance
2.1 Description of Equipment
The Company will issue the following IT equipment to the Recipient (Detailed within this form):
Laptops/Desktops
Mobile Devices
Peripherals (e.g., mouse, keyboard)
Accessories (e.g., chargers, docking stations)
2.2 Equipment Condition
All equipment provided will be in good working condition. The Recipient is required to inspect the equipment upon receipt and report any defects or issues immediately.
3. Responsibilities and Obligations
3.1 Proper Use
Recipients must use the equipment solely for work-related activities and in accordance with the Company’s IT policies.
3.2 Care and Maintenance
Recipients must take reasonable care to prevent damage to the equipment.
Regular maintenance and updates must be performed as required.
3.3 Security
Recipients must ensure the security of the equipment, including password protection and adherence to the Company’s cybersecurity policies.
The equipment must not be left unattended in public places.
3.4 Reporting Issues
Any malfunction or damage to the equipment must be reported to the IT department immediately.
4. Prohibited Actions
4.1 Unauthorised Use
Equipment must not be used for personal activities or by unauthorised individuals.
Software installation without prior approval from the IT department is prohibited.
4.2 Modifications
Recipients must not alter or modify the equipment in any way.
5. Return of Equipment
5.1 Condition of Return
Upon termination of employment or when the equipment is no longer required, it must be returned in good working condition, subject to reasonable wear and tear.
6. Liability
6.1 Loss or Damage
Recipients may be held financially responsible for any loss or damage to the equipment due to negligence or misuse.
6.2 Theft
In the event of theft, the Recipient must file a police report, contact IT Services Department immediately after and provide a copy to the Company.
7. Compliance
Recipients must comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and Company policies regarding the use and handling of IT equipment.
8. Acknowledgment and Agreement
By receiving the IT equipment, the Recipient acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions. Non-compliance may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
