Front Stage Program Application

The Makin' Waves Front Stage Program is an artist development program for Cape Breton songwriters under the age of 25. The program is intended to increase the experiences of Cape Breton songwriters and provide skills and performance opportunities to jumpstart their career in music.
Eligibility:

You must be from Cape Breton Island
You must be under 25 years of age (if a band, all members must be under 25)
You must write original music
You must be able to partake in artist development training and perform at Makin' Waves presented by Sydney Credit Union www.makinwavesfestival.ca

Successful Applicants receive:

Artist development training including introductory management, marketing, booking, and industry skills
Live performance video
Professional live performance photography
Paid performance at Makin' Waves presented by Sydney Credit Union
