The "You Make the Difference" coin is an informal way to recognize individuals that supply the sweat equity that helps AZ Water to provide educational, social, and professional development opportunities to our members.
Selected individuals must be AZ Water members and participate in one or more committee. It is the sole discretion of the nominator to use the coin for recognition of a job well done. The coin is intended to be a volunteer-to-volunteer acknowledgement of one’s service.
The process is as follows:
- Coins will be distributed by the executive director to the board and councils.
- An individual cannot receive more than one coin per calendar year.
- Data will be kept keeping individuals from receiving multiple coins.
- The executive director or members services committee will inform the nominating individual of the status on their nominee and if they have already received a coin.
Committees and Councils
Number of Coins: Committee Chairs - One per year
Number of Coins: Council Chairs - Four per year
