I blanks, the pool owner, agree to let Seekford Swim school and its employees have use of my private pool while doing swim lessons at my residence. I agree to keep the pool clean and the chemicals are proper levels. I agree that Seekford Swim School does not hold insurance. I agree to not take legal actions if anything were to happen at my residence or private pool. I understand that Seekford Swim School and its employees will not take legal action against me if anything were to happen while having use of my private pool or at my residence. Lesson Deposit

lesson deposit gets you a spot on our schedule and holds your spot of availability, so no one can take your spot while completing registration. this is a non-refundable deposit and will be applied to your balance of lessons. your choice if you want to pay now or later, without payment your spot can be taken and you can be placed on the waitlist until we have a space open up.

3 Day Trial

our 3 day trial lets you get a first hand look at how we do lessons, if your child will be ready for lessons or if they will be okay with our instructor. This is a 3 day trial and is non-refundable. Once you complete your 3 day trial you can continue lessons with us or go somewhere else if its not what your wanting.

2026 Weather Policy

The following will be what is followed by all instructors due to weather:
Acknowledgment
Please initial your acknowledgement of this registration form.
⛅You must show up for class unless you have been notified that the lesson has been cancelled due to weather, and you have received a weather credit.
🌧It is your responsibility to schedule your weather credit lesson, not the intstructor.
⛈ If you have not heard from us, then you must show up for the lesson even if you think the weather looks bad.
🌤 Your instructor should contact you 30 minutes or more before your lesson, letting you know that your lesson will be cancelled.
⚡ In the event of lightning or thunder during the lesson, the remainder of the lesson will be cancelled, and you should receive a weather credit if more than 15 minutes of your lesson is left.
🌩 In the event of lightning or thunder before your lesson, we will cancel a lesson if the weather is within one hour from the start time of your lesson. If thunder or lightning has not been heard or seen, plan on the lesson until the instructor calls.
❄ In the event the outside temperature is below 70 degrees and the water temperature is below 75 degrees, the lesson will be cancelled.
🌤 In the event of the outside heat index temperature is above 100 degrees, the lesson will be cancelled.
☔The season starts on March 15th and normally ends around October 1st. Sometimes lessons run into October if the weather allows.
☁In the event of the outside temperature is below 65 degrees, but the pool is heated and below 90 degrees, lesson could receive a weather credit.
*we use the weather channel app to know about storms coming, thunder and lightning strikes. Especially if we don't see them.
*we will cancel a lessons due to heavy rain.
*we are not responsible if your pool is cold and you child has blue lips or shivering. We recommend heating your pool for the comfort of your child.
- if you student is sick or has another reason they can not attend lessons for the day let us know immediately and we will get it credited for you.

Miscellaneous policies
-Registration fee is $25 per family per year. Non refundable payment due with registration fee.

-Lessons are 25 minutes of instruction with 5 minutes of reward time, 30 minutes total
- A $75 non-refundable deposit can be made with registration to hold your spot on the schedule. The rest must be paid in full by the start of the second day of class or your classes will be cancelled with no refund.
- All lessons are private one-on-one lessons.
- Day 1 of lessons is always an evaluation unless you have already had an evaluation done. After Day 5, and every 5 lesson increments, we will send a pregress report to let you know how your student is doing.
-an idea of how lessons go. Day 1 we see what you can do, day 2 we see what you will do, day 3 learning begins, day 4-8 harder days of doing things your not used to, day 9 perfecting, day 10 check out day.
-we have the right to refuse service to any one.
-we follow our weather policy and refund policy strictly.
-we will not provide service to disagreeable customers or customers who will not follow our policies. Please make sure you understand all of our policies before signing.
-scheduling is done in an email and what is written down and sent to you is what we have on our schedules. We will not change the schedule once it has been approved by you and placed on the schedule.
-Do not assume an instructor will show up because you asked, or suggested it. All make up lessons and weather credits will have to be submitted in writing in a text message at least 24 hours before desired lesson to be considered on the schedule. You must have your instructor confirm it before finalizing.
-if you don't wish to do lessons with us please don't waste our time, we hate having to turn people away because the schedule being full because of people not wanting to do lessons.

Refund policy
Registration fee is non refundable and required per family per year. $75 deposit is required to schedule lessons. It is non refundable.
If you cancel lessons before the first scheduled day of class you can receive a full refund minus the deposit and or registration fee.
If lessons get weather credit, and you cancel the rest of the lessons, the lessons that were scheduled will be a $15 charge per scheduled lesson, that should have been completed on a weather credit.
If you cancel after the first scheduled day of class, you will be charged $5 for each schedule lesson left, $15 for each lesson that is on credit including the registration fee and deposit. You will be refunded the remainding balance.
If you cancel after the 3rd day of class you can not receive any refund and the remaining lessons will be donated to the Logan Henry scholarship fund.
