In adherence to the Personal Information Protection and Electronics Documents Act (PIPEDA), the information that Ledge Leadership has collected on this application is strictly for internal use. This information will not be shared with any external parties.
The personal information gathered from this application will be used and retained by Ledge Leadership in connection with the assessment of this application, including checking references and verifying contact information.
By submitting this application, I affirm that the facts set forth in it are true and complete. I understand that if I am accepted as a volunteer, any false statements, omissions, or other misrepresentations made by me on this application may result in my immediate dismissal.
I understand that volunteering is conditional upon successful interview and satisfactory references. I authorize any references listed in this application to provide information about my character and/or readiness to be part of a Ledge Leadership team or board. I release all such references from liability for any damage that may result from their information given to Ledge.
I understand that the Ledge Board meets 6-8 times annually. Most meetings take place virtually and 1-2 meetings are in person.
I am 18 years of age or older and have not been declared incapable under the laws of a Canadian province or territory, or by a court in a jurisdiction outside of Canada and I am not in bankrupt status.
I also understand that if I am 18 years of age or over, a criminal reference check will be required or if I am working with young adults in any of Ledge’s programs, a vulnerable sector check will be required. I consent to such an investigation with the understanding that the results will be kept in confidence.
I agree to follow the 6 Safe Relationship Principles in my volunteer role with Ledge Leadership:
