Lakefront Artist Fair (LAF) is hosted by Racine Montessori School and all individuals involved in the fair are volunteers. All proceeds from the fair benefit Racine Montessori School.
All communications relating to the fair will be from laf@racinemontessori.com. There are no other valid emails relating to this fair.
The fair will be held in conjunction with Racine River Fest. Activities at Festival Park will include a 5K run (9am-11am) and pancake breakfast (10am-1pm) and more. The fair will be held outside of Festival Hall at Rotary Park - West End.
Vendor spaces will be assigned by LAF. Placement, flow, and competition will be taken into consideration to provide the best experience for all attendees. If you have special space needs, please include your request with your application and we will make every effort to accommodate you.
At time of application, all vendors are required to submit 3 photos of their work, a completed S-240 form, AND an event waiver. Please provide photos that are representative of the products you will be selling. You WILL NOT be accepted back to future shows if you have misrepresented your work.
Food vendors are required to submit a Certificate of Commercial General Liability Insurance prior to the event. Certificates of Insurance must reflect: ○ General Aggregate of $2,000,000 and Each Occurrence $1,000,000 ○ The policy must be endorsed to name “5Kevents.org, LLC, Festival Park LLC, and The City of Racine, its elected officials, representatives, employees and agents and Racine Montessori Society, Inc” as additional insured. You must provide a copy of the actual endorsement. ○ If the policy has a deductible or self-insured retention, neither can exceed $5,000.
Food vendors must also provide a copy of their Serve Safe Certificate or Food Safety Certificate in order to participate.
Although this is an art/craft fair, we will be accepting a handful of direct sale (DS) vendors, not to exceed 10% of our total vendor population. Food vendors will also be accepted, assuming requirements are met, and will not be included in the vendor population used to determine the number of DS vendors being accepted.
DS vendors may be placed on a waiting list so as to not exceed 10% of vendor population. Applications will be processed by date of application. No duplicate DS vendors will be accepted. Refunds will be made to those who are not selected to attend.
Application fees are nonrefundable once email acceptance has been sent from laf@racinemontessori.com. No refunds will be made for weather, accident, health, or other causes for non-participation.
In the event you are not accepted into the fair, you will be notified via email and a refund check for the booth fee will be mailed to you.
Each vendor assumes full responsibility for the care, safety, and security of their work and property. Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless 5Kevents,org, LLC, Festival Park, LLC, The City of Racine, and Racine Montessori Society, Inc. from and against any loss, expense, claims, damages, cause of action, injuries, suits of damages, suits to person or property, including attorney's fees, arising out of or related to the operation of Lakefront Artist Fair.
Application for participation in Lakefront Artist Fair indicates the applicant’s agreement with all of the information/rules provided.
