Sporting Dog Rescue International asks the adopter to provide adequate preventative care against Dirofilaria (heartworm disease), ex Novamax, for the duration of the adopted animal's life.

The adopter acknowledges that failure to provide such preventative care may result in serious health complications for the animal, including heart and lung damage.
